Tops You Can’t Live Without in Your Capsule Wardrobe
The most important thing when it comes to tops for your capsule wardrobe is….. Necklines. You can generally get any type of sleeves for any neckline and they’re straightforward, is it hot or cold? But necklines are dependent on the occasion, your chest size (read more) and your hairstyle. Personal preference also plays a huge part as it’s your style we’re playing with (me: someone who hates wearing turtlenecks) but I want to give you all the options so just take what you like.
Sabrina Neckline Long Sleeve Top
Sabrina neckline tends to be the most common top, for a reason. They generally suit everyone no matter what hairstyle, body or chest size. They are essential for your wardrobe for those panics to find the right outfit. The tops above come in a set of three for less than $30, which is amazing. Check it out

If you haven’t seen these tank tops, what world do you live in? I can’t think of an outfit this top wouldn’t work with. Pants you Need to Look Good 24/7
Sweatpants and jeans are a girls go-to when they cant decide on an outfit but we’re above that now. The essential parts of finding the best pants are the fit at the waist and the cut at the boots. Personally I love a flare and a bootcut, they’re a little 2000’s part 90’s and part trendy (how is that possible, I don’t know). Cuffed is the default when it comes to sweatpants and skinny is the common jeans.
Enough about that, I’ve found the best pants to add a unique flare to your outfits.
Cargo Sweatpants
Grey sweatpants I know, I’m rolling my eyes too but hear me out. These come in seven different colours those of which are apricot, black, coffee, coffee grey, dark grey, grey and white. What makes these pants unique is a combination: the colours which we’ve stated, wide leg and the pockets on the side. They’re flattering and practical. Check them out
Linen Blend Wide-Leg Pants
Summer and Spring essentials and with a drawstring feature they’re perfect. If you wanna look put together especially in the change of season you need a pair of linen pants. You really shouldn’t even need convincing on these, go into your wardrobe and if these arent in there, that’s all the convincing you should need. Stretch High-Waist Pants
I know we left high-waist in 2010’s but these are an exception and because high-waist aren’t as common anymore. When people see you in these they’ll be thrown off for a second but because of the three button feature it snatches the waist and the wide leg-flare is beyond flattering. If wearing jeans is uncomfortable don’t throw them away until you try these. I’d match these with the tank top above (it’ll sit perfectly) and add a kitten heel with painted toenails and you’re ready for brunch, a stroll around the city, shopping with the girls you name it and your ready and look chic and put together. Feminine essentials for your closet, add class to any outfit. Yes, skirts can be casual and worn basically anywhere. In saying this though skirts can be dressed up so I’ve tried to find the top 3 most versatile elevating basics (in avoidance to spamming this article with every skirt I think you need, which I could do).
